Who are we?

Our mission

Codelia is an innovative educational project introducing children to the digital world, playful coding and digital creativity, in a warm, supportive and inspiring environment just steps from the sea.

We believe that technology is not only a tool, but also a powerful way to develop curiosity, imagination and critical thinking in children.

Codelia is an educational initiative born at Villa Olivia in Ostend, driven by a strong belief:
👉 every child deserves the opportunity to understand and thrive in the digital world.

The team

Laurent
Founder of Codelia and Panglos Computer Services (Uccle & Ostend), graduated from the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB) in Psychology and Education.

He also worked for several years at Promethean, a global leader in digital solutions for education (interactive boards and learning tools).

👉 This experience gave him a strong practical expertise in digital learning, working closely with teachers and students.

His approach is based on: the quality of each child’s experience, project-based learning, care and kindness

Assistant

An assistant supports the children daily, with special attention to:

  • hygiene
  • well-being
  • group dynamics

Together, we ensure a balance between learning, safety and fun.

Our 5 values – C R É E R!

At Codelia, people come first.
