Computer science camp for children aged 8 to 12.

Codelia is a non-profit initiative driven by enthusiasts of digital technology and education.
Our mission: to give every curious child the opportunity to discover computing in a creative, inclusive and collaborative spirit.
Children are welcomed at Villa Olivia, a brand-new, bright family house in Ostend with a garden, only 10 minutes from the beach and the swimming pool with slides.
🚀 Theme of the week: Interstellar Journey — Discovering the Planets
For 5 days, children will enjoy an immersive adventure into the universe of the planets:
- Coding: Scratch, Roblox Studio, creative mini-scripts.
- Playful electronics: Makey Makey and surprising objects.
- Digital creativity: AI to invent worlds, pixel art, mini-games.
- Group project: build a space universe and present it to parents on Friday.
🗓️ Typical day
Mornings (9:30 am – 12:30 pm): coding, electronics and digital creativity workshops.
Afternoons (2:00 pm – 4:30 pm): beach games, swimming pool (with slides), playground, guided visits, sports and recreational activities.
Evenings (optional boarding): dinner, evening activities (galaxy projections, space stories), calm games.

- Laurent: IT trainer, first aid certified, over 20 years of experience with Panglos Computer Services.
- Assistant facilitator: ensures well-being, hygiene and group dynamics.

- Schedule: drop-off 8:30–9:30 am, camp 9:30 am–4:30 pm, free after-care 4:30–5:30 pm
